Overview
Cloud transcoding lets you ingest once and output multiple formats or bitrates without extra encoder load.
Requirements
- Paid Meshcast tier with transcode outputs.
- Ingest via RTMP, SRT, or WHIP.
Step-by-step
- Create a transcode output In the Dashboard, add a transcode output (HLS, RTMP, or custom).
- Publish your source stream Start streaming to Meshcast using your preferred ingest protocol.
- Use the output URLs Each output provides its own playback or relay URL.
Notes
Format conversions
WHIP inputs use Opus audio. HLS playback requires AAC, which is handled in registered and paid tiers.
